Shhh… let's talk Silencio 🤫
Carnaval de Luz, Dolly Parton, and a Mulholland Drive Easter egg
Hey Lemon Tarts!
New U2 is on the horizon and we are SO here for it. Carnaval de Luz comes out November 13, and on this week's episode we break down everything we know so far.

Side A: The album news. Bono told us years ago "some serious fun is required," and it looks like he meant it. We get into the Abbey Road–style cover, the Beatles "Carnival of Light" connection the internet found for us (thank you, internet), "Glorify" from Vegas, Dolly Parton on "Torn," and the shocking news that U2 doesn't have a group chat. Will someone please call Larry?
Intermission: Our random song from the cigar box was The Unforgettable Fire, and your comments gave us chills. So many masterpieces.
Side B: Silencio, (almost) two weeks in. The lyrics, the video, the "ninjas" with the Mexico City police, the Club Silencio red curtain, and why a well-placed F-bomb is sometimes the only word that works.
And before we say goodbye, a question for Bono over whiskey and cake: Rosie O'Donnell got Sunday lunch. Can we come too? We're free. Any Sunday.

One more thing: want to know why Bono punched Hillary? Our U2 Stories Out of Context are starting on YouTube, and the full collection is coming to Patreon. Podcasts cost money and time is money, so if you can support us at patreon.com/thegardentarts, it would mean the world. Please and thank you!
See you next week,
Jenny & Hillary 💔💋
